Beaufort County Parks and Recreation provides a myriad of services and programs at facilities located throughout Beaufort County. We utilize proactive means to provide fun, safe, and fiscally responsible recreational services to elevate the quality of life in our county and region. We accomplish this effort through standing by our core values: Professionalism - Demonstrating proficiency and skill, as well as honesty, integrity, and respect. Accountability - Taking personal responsibility to be engaged and receptive in providing quality recreational services. Yes, this is a community-input driven process and the outcome and future recommendations will be driven by the needs and vision articulated by the community members.
Through the Participate section on this website – playbeaufortcounty.com you can provide open ended suggestions, respond to the online survey, know the dates for public meetings and even share feedback through social media as well.
This will be a 10 month process commencing in January 2022 and anticipated completion in October 2022
The Master Plan is led by South Carolina-based Wood+Partners Inc. (led by Ms. Kyle Theodore) and supported by a team of national consultants PROS Consulting, INC. (led by Mr. Neelay Bhatt) and ETC Institute.
